Oi Cookie Acho que não vou fazer nenhum review detalhado por aqui não ...mas já deixei aí as imagens daquele que foi para mim (e estou certo que para a esmagadora maioria dos que nessa tarde/noite tiveram a felicidade de "escolher" a pista Goa) a melhor "celebração" de todo o festival: set de 4 horas de GreenNuns/Dick Trevor, que teve direito a arco-íris e tudo! o qual foi seguido do live de Atmos (MUITO muito bom, também! ao contrário do seu set no mainfloor...), Rica Amaral (set em vinil)...e isto sem contar com as actuações de Laughing Buddha, Frank-E, Psychaos, Swarup...enfim, se o festival tivesse acabado no final do dia 30, já teria valido a pena... Em relação às restantes pistas de dança, e do que vi/ouvi, reconheci e de que me lembro (e perdi muita coisa que queria ver devido a uma lamentável desorganização nos line-ups) destacaram-se largamente na pista principal: Rinkadink e Etnica (e mais dois ou três que ainda ando à procura de saber com certeza quem eram ), e do pouco que ouvi na alternativa: Boris Brejcha e Gas James... Também assisti a muito boa musica no palco paralello (Tribo do Sol, Pedra Branca, Zion Train, etc etc), e no fabuloso chill-out idem idem... ...

Another effect of the mystical atmosphere around GOA, is that young people may just feel so attracted to the environment, but out of curiosity, the need for somewhere to hear whether the youthful thirst for "otherwise". It is striking that most GOA parties (or party programs that qualify as GOA's) mainly in the north of Belgium. This is one of two reasons. Either it is a phenomenon that is happening primarily in Flanders and Brussels, or we have the organization in Wallonia has not yet been able to identify. Mas talvez fique mais claro com este exemplo um bocado tosco: vais fazer um evento que tem um custo total estimado de 10000 euros. Prevês que estarão presentes 1000 pessoas. Decides que o preço médio das entradas será de 12 euros (1000x12=12000) Agora passas à fase dos filtros: Queres incentivar a que o pessoal chegue cedo à festa: Decides que as primeiras 500 pessoas que cheguem antes de certa hora, só paga 10 euros...e com esses rendes 10x500=5000 euros.Logo todos os que cheguem depois de determinada hora vão pagar 14 euros (14+500=7000). ...outro filtro provável: Queres incentivar a que só os que realmente se identificam com o evento que propões nele estejam presentes, evitando "paraquedistas": Decides que primeiros 1000 bilhetes vendidos numa pré-venda feita com muita antecedência, custarão 11 euros.Todos os outros custarão 20euros. ....e por aí em diante...

Não faço a mais pequena ideia de qual a fase do caminho em que "estamos"...mas sei que estamos no bom caminho, e que mais importante que isso, estamos a ser referenciados como um exemplo inovador de boas práticas ambientais por muitas instituições que se dedicam por inteiro a essas práticas e à divulgação das mesmas a nível mundial... Implementar medidas rumo à auto-sustentabilidade tem (pelo menos numa primeira fase) custos financeiros mais elevados!...além de que é um caminho que exige mais esforço (mental e físico) por parte dos envolvidos... Eu, como "cliente", estou disposto a despender mais alguns euros para contribuir para e incentivar este caminho...os que não estiverem para aí virados, certamente que com a proliferação de festas e festivais que optam por seguir outros caminhos, não terão dificuldade em encontrar os seus... ... A minha sugestão aos organizadores do Boom: Em relação às benesses para os Portugueses que têm sido reivindicadas neste tópico, acho que numa próxima edição poderiam vir na forma de um primeiro nível de pré-venda exclusivo para cidadãos do nosso país, e mais económico do que todos os outros níveis... Isto porque na minha perspectiva o que se deveria tentar fazer é "premiar" (ou não penalizar, visto que o nosso nível médio de vida é inferior ao da maioria dos outros países desenvolvidos) os portugueses que acreditam e estão ao lado do projecto, e esses não terão desta forma grandes problemas em comprar os bilhetes com grande antecedência (tal como, na sua grande maioria, já o fazem), sentido-se ao mesmo tempo "acarinhados" pela organização... Por outro lado não veria qualquer vantagem para o evento (a não ser o aumento de receitas ) em que se tentasse através da politíca de preços, incentivar a que qualquer Português, só por o ser, tivesse vantagem (além das economias resultantes da proximidade geográfica) em relação a qualquer outro cidadão de outro país...até porque a acontecer isto iria certamente traduzir-se numa desvirtuação do "ambiente" do evento...e atenção que não estou de todo a referir-me a um filtro ao nível do perfil económico dos que nele participam, mas sim ao nível do empenho, convicção e vontade de nele participar e contribuir para o seu sucesso... E já que falei nesse tema tão sensível e polémico dos filtros através de políticas de preços (com os quais concordo desde que os mesmos não estejam relacionados com desfavorecimentos com base em discriminação social/sexual/religiosa/étnica), e porque alguns parecem não aceitar a sua utilização, nem compreender o potencial para influenciar num dado caminho o "ambiente" de um evento, vou deixar aqui alguns exemplos do que se tem feito lá fora a esse nível: Burning Man Question: We would like to visit Burning Man, but can only spend part of the day there. pfffff...como é que eles compensam as emissões de carbono?!?Então mas tu não sabes que aqueles terrenos quando não estão a ser utilizados pelo Boom servem de pastagem para as vacas?!E não sabes também que as vacas são dos maiores emissores de carbono (em especial de metano) para a atmosfera?! (através dos arrotos e flatulências) Só o facto de as tirarem de lá já deve chegar para compensar todas as emissões de carbono geradas pelo evento... ... Mais a sério: É obvio que o Boom festival não é um festival 100% auto-sustentável!... Mas para sustentares essa acusação de "fraude publicitária" poderias colocar aqui o texto da organização que refere essa alegação... Eu na edição de 2006 vi foi referências a "levar a cabo práticas credenciadas de auto-sustentabilidade"...que se confirmaram!...e que julgo que irão ser ainda mais incrementadas na edição de 2008...

...e mais, só para relativizar a coisa: 7 dias a 95 euros dá 13,57 euros por dia... Em agosto num qualquer parque de campismo do nosso Portugal paga-se à volta de 10 euros/dia por pessoa...

...de facto os ordenados não reflectem personalidades. Mas se falarmos dos esforços e sacrifícios que cada um de nós está disposto a fazer por aquilo de que gosta e a que dá valor, certamente que já teremos algum reflexo das personalidades... É um evento que se realiza de dois em dois anos caraças!...isso corresponde a uma poupança de 0.13 euros por dia para obter o dinheiro para o bilhete!... PS:Subscrevo é as criticas em relação aos preços da água engarrafada...

PS:E mesmo os 280 USD que referi acho que não correspondem ao preço à porta do evento, porque segundo julgo saber eles não são muito receptivos à venda de ingressos à porta...deve ser é o preço da última pré-venda porque à porta se os venderem deve ser MUITO mais caro!...

Estava na dúvida sobre qual o local indicado para colocar este tópico, e acabei por o colocar aqui por achar que este método tem bastante potencial para ser explorado por produtores musicais e em particular os dedicados às vertentes mais psicadélicas de chill-out!... Serve de desafio, portanto! Chama-se Binaural Recording e é um método de gravação já com alguns anos e que já foi levemente explorado no passado pela indústria musical (PinkFloyd/Roger Waters/PearlJam) mas sem resultados muito espectaculares... Começa agora a ser difundido a uma escala mais global tanto pela indústria musical (parece que o novo álbum de Radiohead tem algumas músicas gravadas dessa forma) como pela cinematográfica (Monsters, inc. by Pixar)... ... Isto tudo para partilhar convosco a primeira audição por este método que me deixou verdadeiramente impressionado pelo realismo da ambiência que se pretendia ver recriada: Virtual Barbershop Ouçam!!Vale mesmo a pena!(desde que o façam com auscultadores stereo) (se seguirem os links encontrarão mais gravações do tipo desta, mas ainda não encontrei nenhuma que a superasse)
