Anaiska Posted May 8, 2019 Author Share Posted May 8, 2019 Michael Shannon vai protagonizar ‘Swing’ Michael Shannon é sem dúvida um dos melhores atores da sua geração, um íman de atenção que qualquer realizador gosta de ter no seu elenco. Como tal, não é de admirar que tenha sido o escolhido de Howard Deutch para protagonizar o seu próximo filme, Swing. A narrativa decorre em 1999 e acompanha um grupo de amigos e companheiros de equipa que usufruem do último ano da universidade. As suas vidas vão mudar para sempre quando um veterano do Vietname, interpretado por Shannon, toma conta dos treinos. O guião foi escrito por Vojin Gjaja, um ex-oficial do exército que foi treinador na Universidade de Columbia. Segundo o Deadline, o projeto está já a ser comparado com sucessos do passado como Dead Poets Society (1989) e Friday Night Lights (2004). “Michael é um ator brilhante que, emparelhado com a realização precisa do Howard, vai fazer com que a audiência se emocione com Swing”, referiu Nadine de Barros, a produtora executiva do filme. O ator poderá ser visto brevemente em Knives Out, o próximo filme de Rian Johnson. As filmagens de Swing começam em setembro.
