Entry requirements: Recommended for all grades. Interest in various forms of electronic music is considered an advantage.

 

Brief annotation of the block of lectures and seminars:

 

At the beginning of December, the lecturers Plech and Ejczka of the Polyhedra institute prepared a musical block of lectures for you on the premises of the Prague ghettollege known as the Cross Club. The main guest, prof. LAB of the No Comment Records institute, will present himself in the “Psychedelic Stage” lecture hall. Renato Moreira aka prof. LAB first met electronic music in the late 90’s, at which point he also began producing his own music. He went from breakbeat, downtempo, and house music to heavy night psytrance. His production is based on fast groovy beats, strong futuristic industrial themes complemented by distinctive metallic sounds. Live perfomances of his date back to 2005. On Saturday, the 3rd of December, he will first present a 90-minute live set, and another 90-minute dj set will follow later in the night.

His performance in the lecture hall will be accompanied by the musical contributions of prof. MIM, doc. Tranceformer, Mgr. Sheet PhD. and Dr.. Ejczka. The interior will be taken care of by none other than lecturers from the German Institute of Cosmic Walkers.

The seminar room Broken Beatz stage will follow the waves of broken beats. The contributions of each DJ will range from psybreaks, through autonomic sound, deep d’n’b, to techstep, or, towards to morning, to happier dancable forms of drum and bass. The following lecturers will present themselves here: Rudeboy and M4Y4 of the institute of Shadowbox, and Stantha and Jarin of the DNB Fever institute and Yupisashi, respectively. The interior will also be taken care of by the experts from the German workplace Cosmic Walkers.

We hope to create an extraordinary musical and visual experience, supported by both stages, that will complement each other in both regards.
