Back to Mars Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 COSMIC FREAK SHOW 5 - Spring Edition 9 April 2011, Amsterdam We are at the moment changing the plan of our party, it will still go ahead but now in a different way. Sadly the location cancelled on us last week because of recent problems they had with the police so they cannot have parties anymore. We did our best to find a new venue but this was not possible, as it is only one week ahead of the date. So we decided to have a free outdoor party instead. The location of this party will be announced Wednesday or Thursday, so please write to the email below for more info. As the party will be free, we are counting on your support by making a donation to the magic hat that will be going around, this will cover costs like generator and fuel, stage tables, DJs and one of the live acts who is still coming The line up has changed: our guest from Berlin Radioactive Cake has an offer to play at another country, but if all goes according to plan, he will be booked for the next Cosmic Freak Show. And Back to Mars will not be there, she broke her leg two weeks ago so she will be resting on this one. In this edition the music will develop from Deep Groovy Psytrance to Dark Psytrance and Old School. It will be a great night with varied styles and always remaining psychedelic! As for local upcoming talent, WHRIKK will present us with his fresh live act. He is from Haarlem and is producing great Dark Psytrance that is getting releases in good labels like CLOCKTAIL RECORDS and Moon Koradji Records. Also our own SATYR from the Forest of Eleusis will play a very psychedelic set and since he can play many styles, he will surprise us with his diversity! Also in the decks will be TINTAL from the legendary Empathy crew of Amsterdam and SUPERGROOVER, who is a long time DJ an upcoming Dutch producer.
