Battle of the Future Buddhas and Ka-Sol have teamed up for their third album, Masters of Outhouse! First appearing in 1997, the legendary Buddhas broke into new territory with their distinct and hypnotic sound which was to become known as the Uppsala sound. Their debut album, Twin Sharkfins, surfaced on the market in 1998 and was followed by Demonoizer four years later, landing the group a position on the frontline of psytrance while establishing the label Schlabbaduerst Rekkords, whose limited output is treasured today by record collectors. Quickly becoming renowned for his stylistic versatility, Ka-Sol had his first release in 1998. Over the years he has managed to put out two full-length albums, Fairytale and Ghost Story in 2006 and 2008 respectively, and more than twenty mossy tracks rich in woodland air have come out on various compilations. Masters of Outhouse comprises 9 tracks – the two projects showcasing four tracks each and one joint venture – all floydishly illustrated. Uma das minhas preferidas desde sempre. Mesmo de rapar o tacho . Já cheguei a tê-la em boa qualidade até que perdi essa mais algumas reliquias que tinha na altura. Ainda bem que continua a haver produções destas e se procurarmos bem até se encontram as suficientes. Descosam-se lá com a musica que eu sei que alguém deve ter. Só saiu em compilações salvo erro. Trouxe-os a primeira vez que vieram a portugal e deixaram-me uma carrada de DAT´s só com musicas deles e dos seus side projects, a maior parte delas acho que nem nunca foram editadas. Os Dat´s devo ter mandado para o lixo, mas o vinil ainda o tenho para aí. Muito bruta essa noite e velhos tempos em ambiente. Sei que depois fui vê-los mais uma vez lá para os lados de Canha ou Faias mas já com outras sonoridades. Julgo que vieram nessa com Ka-Sol.
