No inicio dos anos 90, Davide e Alessandro começaram a trabalhar juntos em estudio, fazendo os primeiros releases pela US label "Ersatz Audio" e começaram colaborações com G.D Luxxe para Raymond Barry producer team. As faixas deles foram incluidas na playlist de Pete Tong's e na compilação de Ivan Smugghe's. Em 2005 começaram a colaborar com Dandi & Ugo, e fundaram a aclamada label "Italo Business". Em 2006 colaboraram com "Franz & Shape" e publicaram "The man who paid before" na editora "Relish", sendo incluido no DJ Set de "Tiga". Em 2008 em conjunto com a label "Italo Business" adicionaram "N.O.I.A. Records", onde incluiram uma mistura de estilos entre Indie Dance, New Wave and Techno Minimal music. Hoje em dia "Piatto" continua a editar CD's e Remixes em varias labels, atingindo sempre optimas posições nos "Charts". Os seus singles podem ser encontrados nas playlists de DJ's como Troy Pierce, Pan - Pot, Umek, Richie Hawtin e muitos mais.
