His journey through music began with guitar and drums when he was only 10 years old and at 12 years he joined the already successful German rock bank, ‘Mortalia’, as a guitarist. It wasn’t until the late 1990’s that he was charmed and amazed by psytrance. “It was love at first sound!” says Hannes. By 2001 he was already producing his own music. Over the years Hannes has created his own unique music style, best described as a groovy, pumping psy progressive sound characterized by his unique personality and character. Bouncing and psychedelic! Over the years as Vaishiyas, Hannes has released music on a plethora of international labels such as: Jum Jam, Flow, Blue Tunes, Sinn Tec, Plusquam, Spin Twist, Groove Control, Magma, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, AP,Tribal Vision and many more... 'Flaxid' Vaishiyas debut album, released on Jum Jam in the year 2002, was a great success. After a few years in the studio, his 2nd full length album, ‘Flaxible’, was released on Spintwist Records in Februrary 2006. Since 2002 Vaishiyas has played all around the the globe in Portugal, Japan, Italy, Sweden,Brasil, Denmark,Mexico,Switzerland, The Netherlands, Greece, Austria and more. In the beginning of 2005, Sync, a new psy progressive and very promising side project was born. Sync is characterized by rich progressive and psychedelic atmospheres and has received great positive feedback with releases on: Sinn Tec, Spin Twist, Groovezone, Yellow Sunshine Explosion and Groove Control. 'Editmode', the debut album from Sync, was released in end of march 2006. At the moment he is working on the 3rd Vaishiyas album which is supposed to be released in March/April 2008 | www.vaishiyas.de www.spintwist.de DJ JONH-E: With only played in Hong Kong at the famous I-Spy parties. Also in Asia, he was a resident in Club Santa Fe, located at Ko-Samui island in Tailand and also played in the famous Ko-Phagans Full Moon Parties. John-e lived in London between 1997 and 2000 playing regularly at clubs like the 414 and George IV (both in Brixton) and in some underground festivals. With these playing experiences John-e gained very British electronic roots: playing various musical styles such as break-beat, minimal techno, progressive or deep-house, mixing it all up a bit. He moves to Portugal in 2000 continuing his activity as a DJ and beginning his career as a producer. In 2002, already with more consistency, he begins to play live with a laptop, a 16 channels mixer, a synthesizer and FXs as part of the projects ZOOM (dedicated to trance) and, later on, Stereo Addiction (dedicated to house) together with his friend/colleague DJ Gustavo. These projects took them to Kyoto, in Japan, in July 2003, and to a two-day festival in the mountain where they also played as DJs. John-e was also performing at some major events like Underworlds concert in Coliseu de Lisboa, at Da Providers tent in 2004s Optimus Hype @ Meco, with Infusion and Dave Seaman, in Switzerland at Club Spider Galaxy,at Pacha Club with Sander Kleinenberg and finally in Sudoeste Festival 2006 to close the festivals 1st day after Africa Bambatas set. John-e is, nationally, gradually becoming more popular. His style has been developing, transforming itself and getting richer with more and different musical influences. His performance creates energy moments on the dance-floor. His favourite style is funky, deep and hypnotic house, basing it on an excellent musical selection and a perfect technique, always innovating and exploring everything new that can be joined with music. In 2002 he began to play progressive Trance in small parties. Between 2003-2005 he was evolve with creativeheadz where he played progressiveHouse with lots of other's Portuguese dj's like john-e, Gustavo, X-craft, Smash & sphere, Campus, Tribolik, kokeshi, Analodjica, etc. After a long period of time he’s back on track doing a step backward playing progressive trance again. www.myspace.com/coderdj DJ ITNASH: -Itnash is Gonçalo Nery (1988) born and living in Lisbon, Portugal. Gonçalo developed his taste on electronic music when he was 12. Dia 13 está reservado para esta festa mas ao que pareçe houve uma confusão por parte de kem aluga o espaço que disseram à Flow que nesse dia o Art-z estava disponivel. Contudo a flow ja sabe k o espaço está reservado e vão mudar de sitio. Dia 13 no Art-z será Vaishyas a bombar até ás 9 da manhã. Tb tenho muita pena que tenham marcado aquela festa para o mesmo dia. Muita pena mesmo.
